Highest Rating Awarded to CT Institute's Computer Telephony Engineer Certification

New Book Examines Web and Classroom-Based Certification Programs; Gives the CTE "Three Stars"

 LAFAYETTE, CA.
The CT Institute’s Computer Telephony Engineer (CTE) certification program received the highest rating among computer telephony training programs in the new edition of "Get Certified & Get Ahead," a comprehensive book that examines some 200 computer certification programs.

The book written by Anne Martinez (McGraw-Hill, New York; 545 pages $24.95 hardcover) offers valuable advice on how to choose a program, find the least expensive courses, and study for exams. In addition to evaluating more than 200 certification programs, Get Certified & Get Ahead covers everything from the pros and cons of certification to costs, employer support, educational and study resources, as well as career strategies that students can use to build on certification.

In addition to giving CT Institute its highest rating, the book singled out its Computer Telephony Engineer certification program as the only one that is vendor independent.

"More of the responsibility to take initiative in career advancement has fallen on the individual," wrote Perry Anthony, Executive Director, Institute for certification of Computing Professionals. "In response to this change, many education and training organizations have evolved to meet the growing need for continuing education. These organizations in many instances are better equipped than colleges to respond quickly to the marketplace demands for current and topical programs that validate knowledge."

Through its relationship with CyberStateU.com of Lafayette, Calif., the CT Institute delivers its CTE training program in a manner that fits the busiest schedules and the tightest budgets. This is accomplished through a unique, patented method of education, called the Synergy Learning System which uses a variety of learning tools including study guides, online lectures, hands-on labs, and more. To receive certification, students must complete three core courses and two solutions or products courses.

About CT Institute

Quality content and a proven teaching methodology define the CT Institute’s programs. The vendor independent CTE curriculum, and its high stakes certification process, has been endorsed by convergence industry leaders including the Multimedia Telecommunications Association (MMTA); Dialogic, an Intel Company; and the Society of Telecommunications Consultants (STC). The CTE courses are available through all major distribution channels that focus on the computer telephony integration marketplace. Please visit www.ctinstitute.com for more information.
