SGI to Resell CyberState Univeristy Web-Based Technical Training Programs

Lafayette, CA
CyberStateU.com, the nation’s first Web-based information technology (IT) certification training provider, today announced an agreement with SGI (Silicon Graphics) Customer Education that enables them to offer the popular CyberStateU.com Web-based technical training programs. SGI is the world leader in high-performance computing technology.

CyberStateU.com is making its Web-based training and virtual hands-on labs available to support SGI customers who may be migrating from UNIX operating systems to NT. CyberStateU.com’s courseware for Microsoft engineers is priced at $3,495 for its complete MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification program, representing a savings of almost 60% over the cost of traditional classroom technical training and lab fees.

"At SGI we are committed to providing the latest methods to deliver leading edge knowledge and education," said Bill Mannel, manager of SGI America’s Education. "These types of programs allow our customers to quickly integrate technical solutions."

CyberStateU.com is a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center (CTEC) and Solution Provider (MCSP) and has been recognized by Microsoft as a leading supplier of MCSE certification training.

"We’re very enthusiastic about this partnership with SGI. We share a belief that technical training needs to be made broadly available and be consistently ‘best of class’ on a global scale. We are confident this reseller arrangement will only enhance our ability to reach out to greater groups of people who can take advantage of technical learning and certification training. The IT industry has created hundreds of thousands of jobs and the people who fill them need to be well trained and skilled," said Paul Wildrick, CEO, CyberStateU.com CEO. "The challenge has always been to get the learning programs out to the people who need it most but for whom availability and cost have long been primary issues. Our training programs are the most cost efficient available, while almost guaranteeing a solid extended education in Internet, network and systems engineering."
