iMinds

Established in 1995, iMinds Ventures ("iMinds") is a leading professional venture catalyst firm serving the Internet industry. The firm's founding principals, Randy Haykin and Carl Nichols, recognize that most new companies not only seek funding but also desire active "hands-on" assistance. iMinds leverages the extensive operating backgrounds of its principals and their established network of seasoned industry professionals ("the Catalyst Team"). Such active "hands-on" involvement has proven valuable in helping to launch and to accelerate the growth of companies, such as Yahoo!, NetChannel, GoTo.com, Epicentric, Impulse! Buy Network, America Online's Greenhouse, and eCircles.

In 1999, iMinds launched its latest venture fund, with $70 million targeting early stage Internet-related opportunities. iMinds' prior fund has been ranked in the top quartile of all similar vintage funds. iMinds has been the initial venture group involved in funding the launch of companies that are now worth over $7 billion, such as GoTo.com (NASDAQ: GOTO), Wit Capital (NASDAQ: WITC), Impulse! Buy Network (acquired by Inktomi) and MarketHome (acquired by ClickAction.)
